For thirty years the Fosse Gallery has exhibited works by Members of the Royal Academy of Arts. These have included such distinguished artists as Elizabeth Frink, Dame Laura Knight, Augustus John, Lowry, Carel Weight, Richard Eurich, Julian Trevelyn, Mary Fedden and Ruskin Spear. Now thirty years on it still seems important that the RAs should have their work represented fully with an established gallery outside London, and the Fosse Gallery continues with this great tradition. Royal Academicians' work is exhibited in many One Man Shows and Mixed Exhibitions throughout the year. There was a major RA Exhibition in the Autumn of 2010 and we try to keep a fine and interesting number of works in stock at any one time.

The Fosse is proud to point out that many Fosse Gallery Artists have had work chosen and hung in the annual Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy. This is a huge honour for any artist and is a credit to their talent, dedication and self belief. 2009 was no exception with 13 Fosse Gallery artists exhibiting. They are Julian Bailey, Susan Bowyer, Lucy Pratt, Sasha Bowles, Ursula McCannell, Peter Messer, Michael de Bono, David Imms, June Redfern, PJ Crook, David Carpanini, Louis Turpin, Linda Sutton and Michael Johnson.
