With much of her work inspired by Indian influences, Marj Bond has exhibited her work widely throughout Britain and abroad with major solo exhibitions widespread as Sweden and Dublin. Her numerous awards include the Anne Redpath award, the Mondiale D’Estampes etching award, the Thyne Scholarship, and the Dunfermline Building Society Award. Her private collections include those at Edinburgh University, the Carnegie Foundation Trust, Whyte and MacKay, and Perth Art Gallery. Commissions include Commemorative Painting – Phoebe Taquair for Edinburgh Cathedral, 2000 Mary Queen of Scots Edinburgh Festival Exhibition and Painting for the Cunard Liner “Princess Victoria”. She is an elected member of all the major Scottish Societies
